On Monday I was still an ill shut-in so I stayed home from work and made a cardigan. I purchased this piece of striped tube knit at a rummage sale even though I wasn't too sure about what I could do with it. Turns out I was able to come up with a couple of ideas, but the Andrew pattern from Burda Style is what I decided to use. It's a pattern for men, but in the smallest size it makes a nice, comfy cardigan for someone my size. I wasn't too keen on a photo shoot that day after my grandma pointed out at least 3 times that I was "looking pale" from being an ill shut-in. How nice of her to notice... I hope you like my gray shirt and gray leggings ensemble as well!

I'm feeling better now and working on a blouse of my own design... well sort of. I found a shirt online that I liked so I'm working on my own version of it.
I'm adding some small lace trim and crossing my fingers that it doesn't turn out looking too much like a nightgown. Ok, it probably will look like a shirt length nightgown, but I'm crossing my fingers that I'll be able to style it well.

  1. So this is a little silly, but I love your sketch! I wish I sketched like that, all of my original designs or ideas are unintelligible to anyone other than myself!!

I love your andrew too, I have been considering a boyfriend cardi with this since last winter but hadn't really seen any other women versions I loved... This once has my mind made up though! love the snaps
