I've been exiled to my mom's house for the weekend to take care of a little doggy, but I'm coping because I brought Mr. Sewing Machine along! I have a birthday coming up in just seven days, so of course it's time to put together a party dress!My inspiration is a picture of Taylor Swift wearing the best lace dress complete with circle skirt. I bought some gray lace for my version and plan on using one of these vintage glass buttons as a detail on the back. The lace is kind of a beast to work with, but I'm pushing forward! And this dress will be made! And it will be fantastic!
I can't wait to see it! We'll go somewhere fun to show it off!
