I think I'm in a sewing rut.
Today I tried working on a long unfinished project that has been haunting me for the past year. I'm hoping that finishing it will inspire me to move on to new exciting projects! Fingers crossed.
Any tips for rejuvenating your sewing mojo?

  1. Ugh, the dreaded sewing rut! I think, for me, I like to switch it up and do something a little different, but easy, when I'm overwhelmed with a big project (or worse, UFO's). Good luck!

  2. I got in a really bad sewing rut this winter. I snapped out of it by going through my inspiration photos until I found something I was REALLY excited about. Then I tackled it. You'll get your sewing mojo back!

  3. I miss your projects. Maybe a flea market trip to fabric stands would get you inspired??

  4. I find the best remedy is to pick a super easy project like a gathered skirt or something you've made tons of times before and you can do without thinking too much. It'll get your confidence back. Hope your new job is going well.
