Searching for an apartment in the Bay Area is not a whole lot of fun. After over a month of looking, feeling discouraged, and with time running out, we lucked out and found the perfect place. Our one bedroom apartment has some touches that remind me of my grandparent's home, such as the magnolia tree out back and the globe light in our hall, plus some new great stuff like a window box! And a small office for sewing! And tons of natural light!
So here it is, my new sewing space!
New sewing spaces mean new sewing projects. Believe me, I have plenty to share in the coming days! I'm super excited to finally dive back into the online sewing community!
Oh so glad you found a place! Although where I come from... that 'little office space' would have been classed as a second bedroom, hehe. It's gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteSo true! We lucked out with the second room!
DeleteHow perfect is your new space!!! And I'm stoked to see that blazer! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great space, it's so wonderful to have a designated room to create in! I LOVE your ironing board, never seen one quite like it. Fun materials; I'm about to start a Tova, and just got the Shabd book too! Seriously the most inspiring craft book I've seen in a while.
ReplyDeleteThe ironing board is from my grandma's house, so I'm guessing it was purchased back in the 60s. Good luck with your Tova, I had fun making mine!
DeleteOoh lurrvely! Looks so nice and light - love that window. Looking forward to seeing your makes, particularly the Wiksten shirt...
ReplyDeleteIt looks like such a nice space, beautiful windows! Glad you're back, can't wait to see what you sew up in your new studio!
ReplyDeleteYay! Happy new home!
ReplyDeleteA sewing area! Awesome!
