A parapluie for Parker, part two

Raincoat accomplished! Or maybe it's more of a vest... either way, Parker is ready for the rain. I made the pattern for the main body shape by tracing part of a dog outfit that we already had. I sewed together a double layer of nylon for the body, and made straps with navy blue snap closures.



Parker wears a harness instead of a collar, so the finishing touch was a buttonhole for the d-ring of the harness to fit through.





Maybe I should consider a career in canine couture.
