My family went down to Monterey for a short getaway. The weather was chilly, but we stopped down at a beautiful beach anyway.
On our drive back up the coast we stopped in Santa Cruz. We went to lunch with my mom's longtime friend and then she took us back to her house and gave us a tour of her family's amazing urban garden.
The ducks were cute!
They even have a couple of fish ponds.
Wouldn't it be nice to have a garden like that? Too bad I don't have a green thumb.
